WASHINGTON (AP) -- Wedding bells are about to ring for someone President Barack Obama thinks of as family.

White House chef Sam Kass is tying the knot Saturday evening to MSNBC host Alex Wagner.

Obama, his wife and their daughters will be among the guests at the ceremony in Westchester County, north of New York City.

It's at a farm-to-table restaurant that's a favorite of both Kass and first lady Michelle Obama.

Kass began preparing meals for the Obamas when the family lived in Chicago. He came to the White House with the family in 2009.

The Obamas' favorite chef is also a senior nutrition policy adviser and executive director of the first lady's anti-childhood obesity initiative.
