KABUL (AP) -- Afghan officials say three Afghan National Army soldiers have been killed and two others have been wounded by a roadside bomb in Helmand province in southern Afghanistan.

The Ministry of Interior said Monday that the bombing occurred on Sunday in the Musa Qala district.

The ministry says seven other Afghan army soldiers were wounded during the past 24 hours - six in Kunar province in eastern Afghanistan and one in Kandahar in the south. It did not give any details of how they were hurt.
